Asking for some extra support in your home isn't easy. That's why we've launched Good Shepherd @ Home which has been designed with you in mind. We're here to help!
Good Shepherd @ Home, launched in 2021, is our latest service to the Mackay community. We now offer a wide range of support and care to the heart of the community, when you need it most. Good Shepherd @ Home can be accessed if you're funded through a Home Care Package or paying privately.
Our friendly team currently service all the Mackay suburbs.

We find that many of our clients use this service as they are awaiting government funding through a Home Care Package. So, it’s a great way of getting support until you receive your funding.
You can also use Good Shepherd @ Home services in addition to your current funded services. So, if you find yourself needing a little more support, we're here to help!
If you’re a self-funded retiree, you may want to consider receiving services through our @ Home services.

What is a home care package?
A home care package is a set amount of funding approved by the government, that has been provided to spend on the services you need to keep your independence. There are four levels of packages and we can assist you with any of the below levels:
Level 1 – basic care needs such as assistance with shopping, cleaning, personal care or transport
Level 2 – low-level care needs who may also need some basic medical support
Level 3 – intermediate care needs who require additional medication support, allied health or nursing
Level 4 – high care needs who require complex nursing care.
