Respite
Care

What is respite care?

Respite care can serve two purposes. It can provide you with a break for a short period of time, or provide those who care for you a chance to capture some time to have some rest or relaxation or even go away on holiday.

Whilst in respite you or your love one will have the piece of mind that you will have access to 24/7 care.

We also find that some of our residents join us permanently after using respite care previously.  It is a great way of making sure that you or your love one feel comfortable with the adjustment of joining our community on a permanent basis.

Who is respite care suitable for?

  • • If you have considered moving into an aged care community and you would like to try us before committing

  • • For those who are carers, who might be going on holiday or travel for work. Or you might need a little bit of rest.

Respite care is for both you and your loved one.

We understand that your loved one having to leave their home or move into an aged care community can cause uncertainly and angst for you.  Our friendly staff are always on hand to discuss with you the change in circumstances and offer support.
